Why convert PowerPoint to PDF
A presentation sent as a PowerPoint file depends on the software and fonts of whoever opens it. When you convert PowerPoint to PDF, each slide keeps exactly its look, and the file can be read on a computer or a phone. The conversion is done by LibreOffice: each slide becomes a page of the PDF, with its text, images and shapes. Animations, transitions and videos are not carried over, since a PDF is a fixed document. An unusual font may be replaced by a similar one: review the result before sharing it.
