Why merge PDFs
A job application, a rental application or an expense report is often made up of several documents: ID, proof documents, invoices. Merge PDF files to put PDFs together in a single document: no more string of attachments, and your recipient reads everything in the right order.
Pages are copied as they are, with no extra compression: the text stays selectable and the images keep their quality. The resulting file weighs roughly the sum of the original files. If it's too heavy for an online form, run it through the Compress PDF tool afterward.
Frequently asked questions
Are my files safe?
Yes. Merging happens entirely in your browser: your PDFs are never sent to a server and no one but you has access to them.
How many PDFs can I merge?
Up to 20 files at a time, 100 MB max each. You need at least two.
How do I combine PDF files in a specific order?
Drag each file in the list before you start merging: the pages follow the order shown.
What if one of my PDFs is password protected?
It can't be merged as is. Remove its protection first with the Unlock PDF tool, then try again.
Do I need an account?
No. LordOfThePDF works without signing up and without an email address.
