Why rotate an image
A photo taken sideways, a document scanned upside down or an image that shows up lying on its side once sent: a quarter turn is often all it takes to make it readable. Rotate image files here, or flip image files that came out reversed: the saved file is actually transformed, so it displays the right way on every device and in every app.

No. A JPG stays a JPG, a PNG stays a PNG and a WebP stays a WebP.
Is there a limit?
